We met some incredible travelers from the US, Canada, and the UK. More important, we were able to get away from our high pressure jobs and see amazing places we never dreamed of seeing.

We once again reaffirmed the value of a good travel agent. We met a gentleman in Athens that got bounced from the Grand Bretagne Hotel (booked via Expedia). We arrived at the same time and were upgraded to a beautiful suite!

The Regent folks provided excellent transportation to/from airports and hotels. Lufthansa was awesome, efficient, on schedule, and provided service the way air travel should be.

The Regent concierge at the Berninni Bristol arranged for us to have a private tour guide in Rome. Nino was well versed in 3000 years of Roman history, spoke English and Spanish, in addition to Italian, and knew every back street to get us to each destination quickly in a city known for its traffic. He had the ability to park in areas not available to the public and knew many locations that offered a panoramic view of Rome. We saw more in one day than our kids did in four days.

Please pass on our thanks to April and Larry for the goodies we received in the mail from Harry and David. More important is the advice we received from them on possible future trips and their interesting dinnertime conversation.
