About Hugh Hewitt

Hugh Hewitt is the host of a daily nationally-syndicated talk radio show heard in more than 100 cities across the county. He is a Professor of Law at Chapman University Law School, the Executive Editor of Townhall.com, and one of the country's most widely read bloggers at HughHewitt.com. Hewitt is the author of eight previous books, including the New York Times' bestseller "If Its Not Close, They Can't Cheat" and "Blog: Understanding The Information Reformation That Is Changing Your World," and the recipient of three Emmys during his decade as an anchor of a nightly news and public affairs show for the Los Angeles PBS affiliate, KCET. He served six years in the Reagan Administration in a variety of posts including in the White House Counsel's office. He is a graduate of Harvard College and the University of Michigan Law School and lives in Southern California. He can be reached at hugh@hughhewitt.com.


Biography of Dr. David Allen White

David Allen White, a native of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, graduated summa cum laude from the University of Minnesota in 1971. He earned his M.A. from the University of Wisconsin and his Ph.D. from Indiana University. He has taught at Temple University and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. He is currently a Professor of English at the United States Naval Academy where he has taught for 26 years. He is the editor of Shakespeare A to Z, a Shakespeare encyclopedia, and the author of The Mouth of the Lion and the recently published The Horn of the Unicorn. He does a monthly Shakespeare commentary on the Hugh Hewitt radio show out of KRLA- Los Angeles, carried nationwide on the Salem Radio Network. He converted to the Roman Catholic Church in 1979.


Dr. John C. Eastman
Dean and Donald P. Kennedy Chair in Law

Dr. John C. Eastman was appointed Dean and Donald P. Kennedy Chair in Law in June 2007. Previously, Dr. Eastman was the Henry Salvatori Professor of Law & Community Service, and Director of the Center for Constitutional Jurisprudence, a public interest law firm affiliated with the Claremont Institute that he founded in 1999. Prior to joining the Chapman Law faculty in August 1999, he served as a law clerk with Justice Clarence Thomas at the Supreme Court of the United States and with Judge J. Michael Luttig at the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. After his clerkships, Dr. Eastman practiced with the national law firm of Kirkland & Ellis, specializing in major civil and constitutional litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. Dr. Eastman earned his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, where he graduated with high honors in 1995. He was selected for membership in the Order of the Coif and was a member of the Law Review, a Bradley Fellow for Research in Constitutional History and an Olin Fellow in Law & Economics. Dr. Eastman also has a Ph.D. and M.A. in Government from the Claremont Graduate School, with fields of concentration in Political Philosophy, American Government, Constitutional Law, and International Relations. He has a B.A. in Politics and Economics from the University of Dallas. Prior to law school, he served as the Director of Congressional & Public Affairs at the United States Commission on Civil Rights during the Reagan administration and was the 1990 Republican Nominee for Congress in California’s 34th District. He teaches Constitutional Law, Property, Legal History, First Amendment and Constitutional Litigation Clinic.
